Professor Mark Tehranipoor Visited the SEIE at Beihang

On November 20th, at the invitation of Prof. Wang Xiaoxiao of our university, Prof. Mark Tehranipoor at the University of Connecticut visited the School of Electronics and Information Engineering of our university. The both sides carried out exchanges about communication and cooperation with each other in the related field.

Under the auspices of Prof. Su Donglin, the professor charges the first-level discipline Electronic Science and Technology, Prof. Tehranipoor detailed introduced the current situation of scientific research, teaching, and international cooperation and development in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Connecticut. The dean of the School of Electronics and Information Engineering of our university Prof. Wang Zulin, the assistant dean Prof. Zhang Youguang, and the head of the Electronic Science and Technology Department Prof. Xie Shuguo had extensive and in-depth discussions with Prof. Tehranipoor about various aspects including the joint research about hardware reliability in electronic system and the united talent training in this field. They all expressed their sincere expectations of communication and cooperation between the two departments in the future. Subsequently, Prof. Tehranipoor gave teachers and students of out university an academic report entitled “Security and Reliability of Integrated Circuit and System”. At the end of the report, Prof. Tehranipoor answered several questions that teacher and students raised, and then took a group photo together passionately. The report lasted nearly two hours. The vivid interpretation of Prof. Tehranipoor led to a great success.
